Not only do we already have social media changing how we receive news, communicate with others and share content but it also may affect how we parent our children.
Pictures can speak a thousand words, and many people love to share those moments with all their friends and family they connect with online. Whether its a baby’s first steps, first day of school, or even a high school graduation. It has become a natural instinct to want to take a photo and share it online with what is going on in their daily lives.
This may go along with how often parents post and the meaning behind it. Some may want others to know how their child is doing, some do it for popularity, and others because they simply want to keep for memories. Since the like button on social media sites is a feature, some may keep this in their mind for more bragging rights or value for their photo.
As it may not be the best thing to post every single moment in your daily life, its important to point on the pro’s and cons. Sometimes its best to cherish the moment and not feel like you HAVE to take a picture. This reminds me of people who record an entire concert they went to live. I personally love to enjoy the moment while it last!
